State Center News

News:

On 21 December 2016, Governor Hogan killed the State Center Redevelopment plan. He, along with Comptroller Peter Franchot and the State Treasurer Nancy Kopp voted to rescind prior approval for this plan. This is devastating for West Baltimore, and the revitalization that has long been planned.
Listen to WYPR’s Tom Hall of MIDDAY discuss this project with SNCA president John Kyle and Caroline Moore of Ekistics.
Here are the recent news stories about this:
2016 was a year of great highs and lows for State Center Redevelopment. On 21 March 2016, the State Center Neighborhood Alliance, of which Seton Hill has been a long time member, and State Center LLC, signed the long-discussed Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). You can read about it here, and here.
And in 2015, we had a festival with The Gathering to support State Center Redevelopment.  It was a wonderful night, full of people from the community, enjoying the site as it could be!  Check out our photos and read more about the event here.
