Please join neighbors for a Thursday Seton Hill monthly clean up and weeding. We provide the gear, gloves, and hand sanitizer, and ask that you practice social distancing while working with the community to help beautify our neighborhood. We will meet at the park building near the St Mary St entrance  at 6 pm and work until 7.30pm. Please join us with whatever time you have.

Cicada Parade-a

Cicada Parade-a has arrived in Saint Mary’s Park! Cicada Parade-a  is a large-scale collaborative art project organized by Formstone Castle Collective that will be on display in and around the greater Baltimore area starting in May and running through the end of summer 2021. This project celebrates the re-emergence of Brood X, central Maryland’s 17-year cicada brood, which will return by the trillions to Maryland during spring and summer 2021.

Come see Frenchy and her friends in the trees of Saint Mary’s Park while visiting Brood X.

Many thanks to our neighbors at 222 Read Street, Space Between Counseling, for sponsoring Cicadas in Saint Mary’s Park. https://www.spacebetweencounselingservices.com/

Further gratitude to Cicida Parade-a, Formstone Castle Collective, the Maryland Arts Council, and DAP Products, for making this art project possible. To learn more about Cicada Parade-a, and see the full Cicada sculpture map, click here: https://www.cicada2021.com/
